Austrian U-23 riders Christian Ebner and Markus Eibegger were found not to have any forbidden substances in their doping controls. For both riders, the preliminary screening indicated a possibility of EPO, the Austrian cycling federation announced Tuesday, but this suspicion could not be confirmed by further testing. Both Ebner and Eiberger were removed from the Austrian U-23 World Championship team after they skipped an unannounced doping control.
