Sydney 2000 Olympic Games road race, September 27, 2000
In the 2000 Olympics, Sydney's Centennial Park saw
the country's greatest-ever road race when Jan Ullrich, here seen leading
Andreas Kloeden (Ger) and Alexandre Vinokourov (Kaz), duked it out in the
finale of the men's road race. Sections of the same parcours will be made
available to all-comers in the Ride For Life event to be held on August 14,
the same day as the Athens 2004 road race.
