Ross Schnell (Trek/VW) won the Brian Head Super D race with a finishing time on the extended course of 12 minutes and 4.49 seconds. National champion Adam Craig (Giant) finished second in 12:07.34, narrowly holding onto his series lead over Schnell by one point. On the women’s side, national champion Susan Haywood (Trek/VW) held on to her commanding lead in the series standings with her Super D win in 14:15.35. Downhill legend and author Marla Streb (Luna Chix) crashed in the race and had to leave the event with possibly broken ribs.
