Pro bike: Jens Voigt's farewell Trek Madone

This article originally appeared on BikeRadar

Jens Voigt's final road race as a professional was the USA Pro Challenge, where the German rode this custom Project One Trek Madone.

The bike features a silvery paint job with inset stripes representing the liveries of previous teams he's raced for as well – as the German flag. There are also tallies of the "number of souls Voigt has crushed in his career of attacking" on the down tube as well as a name badge on at the rear of the top tube.

Finally, there's the famous words of the man himself, "Shut up legs! Shut up body!" just behind the stem.

Voigt's famous self-talk mantra is writ large on the top tube

The Madone is specced with full Dura-Ace Di2 including direct mount front brake and hidden aero brake under the bottom bracket. Bontrager Aeolus 5 carbon wheels finish things off. The bike also has the H1 head tube for a lower front end, but no SRM like the bike he was riding earlier this year.
