After his totally dominant year on the dirt, it's no surprise at all to see Canadian Roland Green getting the lion's share of your votes in this category, with almost 60 percent of the vote and putting Filip Meirhaeghe into a distant second.

Other than throwing away votes for 'me' and such obvious silliness, we don't trim out inactive racers from this poll, which is why long-retired riders like John Tomac still pop up and Cadel Evans rates fifth place despite not having raced a mountain bike this year. A few people obviously think Giro mountain stages count as mountain biking...
