Hi guys,
I am very happy to be here: back in Tirreno Adriatico after some trouble in the previous races. I had a stomach virus in Ruta del Sol that forced me not to start on the last stage. It probably got me down a bit and I wasn't so good in the following days.
As a result I was pulled out from the scheduled Paris-Nice and supposed to rest for an additional two weeks. Moreover, I crashed in Chiasso and I'm currently suffering a pain in my right hand while I'm on the bike.
But while in Belgium a virus hit a lot of my teammates: knocking them down. With the team's numbers down, a couple of days ago the team director called me to take me on board for Tirreno.
So here I am in the centre of Italy, enjoying with my teammates the area's warm temperature, good food, great race profile and the chance to use this important scene as an opportunity to increase my level, and, why not, some good team and personal performance.
Until my next entry,
Bye
Marco Pinott
