Randwick Botany Cycling Club

Heffron Park, September 4, 2004

Junior Madison training at Heffron Park

Following the gold medal Madison track cycling performance of Australians Stuart O'Grady and Graeme Brown at the recent Athens Olympic Games, junior riders at the Randwick Botany Cycling Club practiced Madison racing skills at Heffron Park on Saturday 4 September 2004. Accredited Cycling Australia coach Tanya Bosch supervised the training that included Italian Pursuit and bike handling skills.

Randwick Botany Cycling Club conducts cycling skills workshops each month to help young riders improve their bike skills. The workshops are sanctioned by Cycling NSW. Riders test their skills and learn new skills in a fun and safe environment at Heffron Park.

The next workshop will be held from 12.30pm Saturday 16 October 2004. Cost is $5 per family. Contact Janette on 0438 511 244 for more details or visit www.randwickbotanycc.com for more details.
